A Little About iHerb Canada

iHerb Canada Free Shipping

iHerb offers free shipping to Canada. To qualify for it, your order must be at least CA$55.00. There are no other ways to get free shipping. Unfortunately, for several years now, the online store has not offered free shipping coupons. However, you can still lower the cost of your cart by applying an iHerb promo code Canada. If you want to place a small order, you’ll have to pay a CA$5.00 shipping fee.

Shipping Methods to Canada

You have three options to receive your iHerb order through the following delivery services:

shipping methods
  1. Global Air with Tracking – iHerb will choose the delivery service for you: Landmark Global, Asendia, or Purolator (the fastest and most affordable option for your region). By selecting this method, you can avoid shipping costs if your order exceeds CA$55.00.
  2. Purolator – DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) service. With this option, free shipping is not available. Even for large orders, you’ll need to pay a fee based on the weight of the package.
  3. DHL Express – Also offers DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) delivery to Canada. This is the most expensive shipping method—you’ll pay over CA$20 for any order.

Which Shipping Method Should You Choose?

We recommend opting for the first and most reliable option—Global Air with Tracking. Firstly, you can avoid paying for shipping. Secondly, you’ll receive your order as quickly as possible. For example, as of the article’s writing date (March 11, 2025), we placed an iHerb order to Canada and found that Global Air with Tracking offered delivery in just 2-3 days. Meanwhile, Purolator and DHL Express promised delivery with a week-long delay (see the screenshot for yourself).

Important: All duties, taxes, and import fees are collected by iHerb upfront during checkout to speed up customs clearance. You won’t need to pay anything upon delivery!

IHerb Canada Duties in 2025

If your order exceeds CA$40, be prepared to pay taxes (GST/HST/PST). If the order value exceeds CA$150, duties will be added on top of the taxes.

Important: These limits do not include shipping costs. Only the cost of the goods counts toward the limit.

Example: You placed an order for CA$160.

  • You’ll pay taxes (GST/HST/PST) because the amount exceeds CA$40.
  • You’ll pay duties because the amount exceeds CA$150.

Tip: To avoid extra expenses, try to keep your orders under CA$40 to avoid taxes, or under CA$150 to avoid duties.

What Items Cannot Be Ordered from iHerb to Canada?

iHerb strives to comply with import regulations for different countries, but it’s important to know the rules yourself. The following are prohibited for import into Canada:

  • DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) – a hormone.
  • Growth hormones – products for increasing muscle mass, etc.
  • Vitamin K – some forms of Vitamin K may be banned.
  • Vitamin D – there are restrictions! Vitamin D can be ordered, but the dosage must not exceed 2,500 IU per unit, and the order must not exceed a 90-day supply. iHerb automatically displays only Vitamin D products that are permitted for Canada.
