iHerb Canada: Shipping, Duties & Ordering Guide 2026 – Updated

Updated January 2026 — All New Shipping Info & Tariff Rules

This guide has been fully updated as of May 2026. Previously, Canadian customers had three shipping options — now only one remains: Global Air with Tracking, which uses Asendia or Landmark Global. Also, starting March 2025, Canada imposed a 25% tariff on select U.S. goods, including coffee and cosmetics. Some of these tariffs are already included in the iHerb prices — you won’t have to pay anything extra at delivery.

Let’s walk through everything you need to know when ordering from iHerb in Canada.

  2. Purolator – DDP
  3. DHL Express – DDP

As of 2026, only one shipping method remains:

  • 📦 Fully trackable
  • ⏱ Estimated delivery time: 5–6 business days
  • 🧾 Taxes and duties included at checkout (Delivered Duties Paid)

You no longer need to worry about customs clearance delays or paying anything upon delivery — iHerb handles it upfront.

PO Box Warning

Due to possible Canada Post strikes, deliveries to P.O. Boxes may be delayed. We recommend shipping to a regular street address during this period for the best experience.

Important: All duties, taxes, and import fees are collected by iHerb upfront during checkout to speed up customs clearance. You won’t need to pay anything upon delivery!

IHerb Canada Duties in 2026

If your order exceeds CA$40, be prepared to pay taxes (GST/HST/PST). If the order value exceeds CA$150, duties will be added on top of the taxes.

Important: These limits do not include shipping costs. Only the cost of the goods counts toward the limit.

Example: You placed an order for CA$160.

  • You’ll pay taxes (GST/HST/PST) because the amount exceeds CA$40.
  • You’ll pay duties because the amount exceeds CA$150.

Tip: To avoid extra expenses, try to keep your orders under CA$40 to avoid taxes, or under CA$150 to avoid duties.

New 25% Canadian Tariffs on US Goods

As of March 4, 2025, the Canadian government imposed a 25% tariff on certain U.S. products. Some of these items are sold on iHerb, and the extra cost is now included in their Canadian prices.

Example: Coffee with Tariff Included

Product: Mount Hagen Organic Instant Decaf Coffee, 100g

  • 🇺🇸 U.S. Price: $11.86 USD
  • Converted to CAD: ~CA$16.13
  • 🇨🇦 iHerb Canada Price: CA$20.46

Difference: ~26.8% — this matches the 25% tariff, which is already included in the price you see.

Do You Need to Pay Anything Extra?

No.
If the product is subject to a 25% tariff, iHerb includes it automatically in the Canadian price. You will not be charged anything else at the door or by customs.

Other Items Likely Affected by the Tariff:

  • ☕ Coffee
  • 💄 Cosmetics
  • 🍊 Orange juice
  • 🥜 Peanut butter
  • 🍷 Alcohol (rare on iHerb)

What Items Cannot Be Ordered from iHerb to Canada?

  • Growth hormones – products for increasing muscle mass, etc.
