We are checking how iHerb delivery works in different countries, and this time we decided to make a detailed test for iHerb Latvia. We placed several orders, studied all delivery services, found real customer reviews and are ready to share our experience with you.

Official iHerb website for Latvia
Orders are placed directly on iherb.com – without additional subdomains, as happens in some other countries.
Let’s say right away: unfortunately, the Latvian language is not available on the website. You can choose English, Russian, or any other language from the list.
All prices are displayed in euros. This is convenient: no need to recalculate, everything is transparent. An important detail — VAT is already included in the price. That is, the amount you see in the cart is exactly what you will pay. No unexpected extra charges at the post office or from the courier.
Why is it profitable to order iHerb to Latvia?
We checked prices in Latvian stores with supplements and vitamins — and they are 30–50% higher than on iHerb. Moreover, the choice in local stores is limited, storage conditions are often unclear, and the question of product originality remains open.
On iHerb you get only original supplements, stored in warehouses with temperature control.
In addition, promo codes work: for example, for Latvia the iHerb promo code PJZ7818 is valid – it gives –10% on all products without a minimum order amount.

How to choose delivery on iHerb to Latvia
After you have collected your cart and clicked the Proceed to Checkout button, the Shipping Method section appears.
By default, the system sets Omniva Home Delivery.
But if you click the Change button, the list of all available delivery options will open.

iHerb shipping methods to Latvia
In total, iHerb offers three delivery services. The maximum order amount for each is about €123.
- Omniva Home Delivery — the most popular option, and iHerb sets it by default. Free delivery from €40, weight up to 30 kg. The courier brings the order directly to your home. Full tracking is available, notifications come both to the Omniva app and via SMS. According to reviews, Omniva delivers without delays and unpleasant situations.
- Venipak — an alternative to Omniva. Free delivery also from €40, but the weight limit is 4.5 kg. All taxes and duties are prepaid, parcels go through the Netherlands and arrive without delays. There is a convenient website, email notifications, and a mobile app (works in all Baltic countries).
- DHL Express — an option for those who need speed. Delivery takes 7–9 days, but the cost is high: we had an order for €19, and delivery cost another €20. Moreover, in Europe DHL couriers are not always reliable: sometimes they mark “delivery failed” without even trying to deliver the parcel. We do not recommend this method — Omniva, although a couple of days longer, works more reliably.
Our test order
We placed an order for €42.40 (several jars of vitamins) on August 20. Delivery via Omniva was promised between August 28 and September 2. Shipping cost was €0, since the order exceeded €40. In the cart everything was transparent: products, delivery “Free”, VAT included — total €42.40.
For the experiment, we also made a small order for €14. In this case, Omniva delivery cost €5. Final amount — €19.08, of which €3.32 was VAT.
How long to wait for an iHerb order to Latvia
We checked the delivery times to Latvia on the iHerb website and studied real customer reviews. The picture looks like this:
- Omniva delivers in 8–15 days, sometimes even within a week.
- Venipak — about the same time, sometimes one day longer.
- DHL delivers within 7–9 days.
Important: there are almost no delays at customs. Everything goes through centralized clearance, and then delivery proceeds quickly.
Some buyers note that Omniva sometimes delivers faster than promised.
Customs and taxes iHerb Latvia — do you need to pay extra?
The short answer — no, you don’t need to pay anything extra when receiving iHerb in Latvia.
iHerb is registered in the IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) system, and this means:
- all orders up to €150 come with VAT already included;
- in Latvia, the standard VAT rate is 21%;
- tax is collected in advance when paying for the order and is displayed in the cart.
In practice, this works simply: the amount you see on the site = the amount you pay. When receiving from Omniva, Venipak or DHL, there are no additional charges.
